Natacha Mankowski

Natacha Mankowski studied at the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris as well at the College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (DAAP) of Cincinnati, USA.
The past few years, she has been working for artists and architects such as Vito Acconci (NY), Dominique Perrault or Jean Nouvel (Paris).

As a recently licensed architect, she uses her technical and creative background, as a foundation for artistic practice. From a wide ranch of mediums (scenography, installation, painting) she finds ways to open and reactivate lost spaces of the city to public.

Her last project, taking place in the Brooklyn Navy Yard was presented to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and to the Architectural Academy. It was recently awarded by the Tony Garnier Prize, as best project in Architecture and Urban Planning.
