Graham Smith is a Canadian media artist who has been exhibiting his photographic, telecommunications and robotic artworks internationally since 1983. He was also part of the ground breaking “telepresence” exhibition “Strategic Arts Initiative” that linked Toronto to Salerno Italy, in 1986. From 1993 to 1995 he directed the VRAAP program (Virtual Reality Artist Access Program) at the McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology at the University of Toronto exploring the effects virtual technologies on society and continues to exhibit his media artworks internationally.
