Dave is a performance maker and creative producer based in Brisbane/Melbourne, Australia. Dave was a producer for Next Wave Festival (2013-14) and MAPS for Artists (2013) and currently holds the position of Producer for Contemporary Performance at the Brisbane Powerhouse. A huge focus of Dave’s theatre making and producing practice lies in transcultural collaborations, working with artists and companies in Australia, South Korea, USA and Israel. Dave has directed La Voix Humaine (The Human Voice) (La Boite 2012), Iphigenia 2.0 (Vena Cava 2012), Meet You Downstairs at the Bar (Tom Dickins, Melbourne Cabaret Festival) and Or Forever Hold Your Peace (La Boite 2014) for which he received a Matila Award nomination for Best Director. He is the producer for the 지하 Underground (Metro Arts, Brisbane Festival, World Theatre Festival, APAM, Hi Seoul Festival), 대홍수 Deluge (Brisbane Festival, Seoul International Dance Festival), Six Women Standing in Front of a White Wall, (Canberra, Brisbane, Edinburgh) Cordelia (The Street Theatre Canberra). Dave has also been a delegate for several international performing arts markets and IETM meetings and has recently been accepted as one of five Australian delegates for the Asia Producers Platform (Seoul, Japan, Taiwan, Australia).
