Installation, performance, video and artist talks
For the autumn version the ZK/U invites you to another OPENHAUS. This time there will be a performance and an oversized projection about the “objectification of the human being”, an installation that deals with the question of what a "wall" is or symbolizes, and presentations of books, drawings and current projects of the artists in residence. You will also have the possibility to get flight tickets to unknown countries from a fictional travel agency.
The OPENHAUS is a regular public format that takes place every month in ZK/U, inviting audiences to connect with the hosted projects and to explore the process of its residency program.
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the artists in residency and explore ZK/U’s space and surroundings, to ask questions, to discuss and to exchange ideas about ongoing projects and artistic practices.
Participating artists: Tito Aderemi-Ibitola, Yunju Park, Atsuko Mochida, Bokyung Jun, Rebecca Digby, John Mario Ortiz, Jan Van Esch, Viktor Vejvoda, Claudine Zia & Nomadic Art
This time we also have another event going on at ZK/U just before the OPENHAUS: the .hikk Upcycling-Festival organized by the Baufachfrau Berlin e.V. There will be an exhibition and the showing of a project film as well as a quiz and a lot of prices to win.
