“Adelante Muchachas!” (2004, 33 min.): On the field there is no difference between them. All four of them play football with enthusiasm and passion. All four girls are from Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras, from completely different living circumstances. In everyday life, they would have never met. The film gives an insight into the worlds of these young women, their families, hopes, fears and weaknesses. It show that regardless of one’s background, sport excites and even break social barriers.
“Mika, Chula und Karma” (2001, 26 min.): Mika is an Inuit from the south-west of Greenland, Chula lives with her mother in Havanna, Cuba’s capital city, and the 14-year-old Karma is a buddhist monk in Nepal. Three completely different children, connected by football. The film brings us closer to their hopes and wishes, and makes us curious to find out more about the living conditions of the three boys.
