Florencia Vecino

(Argentina)

Florencia Vecino (b. 1985) based in Buenos Aires. Graduated from Contemporary Dance Academy San Martín Theatre and from Artists Program at Universidad Di Tella. Studies Philosophy at Buenos Aires University. Investigates new definitions of choreography. Their recent works in dance are Pink Tax and Why We Like The Lights So Much; in performance The Walking Tongue and Poses; in video Move Without Touching. Since 2006 collaborates with the choreographer Luis Garay performing at numerous international festivals like Centre Pompidou Metz (France), Kyoto Performing Arts Festival (Japan), Malta Festival (Poland). Active collaboration with Hernán Borisonik (political philosopher, PhD) making video-performance (We Live No Longer In Democracy But Haven´t Invented Another Name Yet).
