Born in Chuncheon and raised in Incheon, Korea.
Much of my work has been influenced by an obsession with abandoned objects, substances, sensations and water that have the ability to disappear, to be transient or ephemeral, or otherwise located at the limen of our perceptual capacities.
These limina are the vague periphery of what is concrete and known, and I believe that they should be considered to be revealing things we cannot sense, and to delimit an increasing area of potentiality.
My recent projects are concentrating on an old city and its catastrophic memories surrounded by water.
