Whilst at ZK/U, Ella will conduct an inquiry into contemporary art’s capacity to best explore, communicate and critique the emerging machine architectures shaping this century. Evolving from conversations, collaborations and collection visits, she will complete new work for her institutional solo exhibition, Unkempt Cognition, opening later in 2024. Ella’s residency forms a part of her research in her role as Senior Lecturer at Australian National University’s School of Art and Design.
