OPEN STUDIOS, PERFORMANCES, VIDEOS, INSTALLATIONS AND RESIDENT TALKS

May 23 2024 / 7 - 11 pm

ZK/U BerlinSiemensstr. 27, 10551, Berlin, Germany

On May 23 from 7 pm, the residents of ZK/U Berlin will open their studios for OPENHAUS MAY.

OPENHAUS invites you to get to know the ongoing work of the resident-artists who have been living and working at ZK/U for several months. In video, installations, performance and sound, the residents will take you on a journey into their working processes about memory, history(ies), family archives and the museum, about the foreign, social practices and rituals, about competitions and countercultures. The artists work in a wide variety of media, some touch on language and poetry, some relate to smells while others get under the skin with tattoos.

Don't miss the chance to engage with the artists, curators, and researchers-in-residence. Take the opportunity to inquire, converse, and share insights regarding ongoing projects and artistic methods, while also discovering the ZK/U environment and surroundings.
