Rodrigo Azaola’s work is an ongoing research on the intersection of art and historical narratives. As of late, his interests lie in financial infrastructures and political economy. Among his recent projects are Systèmes de circulation, La chaufferie, Montreal, August 2023; Tremor, Video Art Miden, Kalamata, Greece, July 2023; HCRH 1947-2027, Museo del Eco (2022), Impunity landscapes, École Supérieure d'Art et de Design d'Orléans (2020); Armida, C3 Contemporary, Melbourne (2019). Some of the venues where he has also exhibited are Centre d'Art Santa Mònica, Barcelona; Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris; Havana Biennial, Cuba; Jumex Museum, Mexico City; AS/COA, New York; National Center for Contemporary Art, Moscow; X-Teresa Museum, Mexico City; CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, San Francisco, among others.
