During the residency, they will start developing the second stage of the þit. After the three months experiments on site, in the city of Oer-Erkenschwick, Germany, they will now lean upon all the collected material and imagery, to transform and reshape them into visual bodies that can re-tell this story. the þit is a project by Maíra das Neves and Pedro Victor Brandão within Archipel In√est, curated by KUNSTrePUBLIK for Urbane Künste Ruhr.
At ZKU they will present one financial sculpture and will offer a cryptocurrency workshop in July to envision possible future economic experiments for decentralized autonomous organizations. In August, they will show new works.
Pedro will also realize an essay crossing studies on asteroid mining with collective property of natural resources, in a collaboration with Museum für Naturkunde.
