Anabelle Lacroix

Anabelle Lacroix is an independent curator based in Paris, where she recently relocated after ten years abroad, mostly in Melbourne. She recently curated an exhibition celebrating 30 years of the Archives of Art Criticism in Rennes (France), focused on experimental practice and its reception by art critics. She is an associate curator of Liquid Architecture, an independent organisation for sound and listening, where she worked between 2014 and 2016. In Melbourne she was Curator for Public Programs at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in 2017-2018. With a background in art history and curating, she has worked on a range of projects, including exhibitions and research. She often contributes to public forums on contemporary art through talks, residencies in Europe and the Asia Pacific, and as she regular writer. Many times collaborator, she co-edited An Act of Showing: rethinking artist-run initiatives through place with Maria Miranda, published by Unlikely, 2018.
