The ZK/U - Center for Art and Urbanistics is growing!

Ongoing - To be completed by end of 2024

As a measure for energy-efficient renovation, the existing event hall will be enclosed by a transparent shell, while retaining its character. A new floor offers more space for artistic and neighborhood projects, workshops and meetings. In addition, an "urban stage" will be created as a terrace visible from afar and accessible to the public. Here there will be changing projects, mobile gardening, bee care, Güterverkehr workshops and Kunst-am-Baum (Art at Tree). We started with the measures in autumn 2020 and hope to be there again in full for Moabit, Berlin and our residents by 2024.
