Walk: Anekdotische Stadtführungen with Jonas Rogge

(c) Studio Itch

The format invites all participants to imagine themselves as icons. Residents of Moabit sign up to guide the audience through their own neighbourhoods. The audience simply joins at the meeting point!

The Anecdotal City Tours invite you to take part in the anecdotes of icons from Moabit—or to bring your own stories!

In the spirit of a classic guided tour, you tell small stories at the places where they actually happened. The stories may be personal, political, or also quite mundane. Imagine you are David Bowie and everyone wants to hear where you once lived in a strange shared flat, where you celebrated Nowruz by the canal, or where you reunited with your best school friend after many years.

If you would like to give a tour yourself, please write an email in advance for planning purposes to anekdoten48(at)posteo.de. Details will be provided by email.

Jonas Rogge works as a freelance journalist and organizes international skate events. In his artistic practice, he questions perspectives on urban spaces and subjective experience. As part of the skate festival Abriss Berlin, Jonas Rogge has been curating exhibitions, readings, and concerts in Berlin since 2015. A large part of these program elements takes place free of charge in public space. In 2024, Jonas Rogge, together with the collective “Le Soir Berlin,” realized a performance as part of 48 H Neukölln that playfully explored the collective investigation of the city.
