Track 69 – Recollecting a German family

A theater collage with documents of the persecuted

/ performance at 10am - 12am - 5 pm /

The memorial site on track 69, which is reminiscent of the Berlin deportation station Moabit, is opposite the Theodor Heuss Community School. The school sees itself as responsible for reasserting to each generation of students what happened in 1942/1943 in this place during National Socialism. Artists and friends of the Verein Tanz Theater Dialogues develop a special approach to this topic with a course of the 10th year - with theatrical means such as music, movement, stage objects, projections and photography - and present the result in the form of a play in the ZK/U, a former building of the freight station Moabit. The basis of the project are original certificates from private as well as official transmission of deportees. Letters will be read from members of a family, of which none was able to escape. An exhibition presents the photographic impressions of the young people during the process.
In German language.
