∆ Film: ‘Somos Cuba’ by Annett Ilijew (Cuban Spanish with german Subtitles)
Who, if not me, can make these pictures? For seven years, casual worker Andres filmed his direct environment with a small video camera. Far away from the boulevards and the great motifs of Cuba, he follows everyday life in a working class in Havana. He watches his family, neighbors and friends. Filmmaker Annett Ilijew is assembling a documentary film that shows why Cuba is what it is.
