It is autumn and getting colder in Switzerland. Suddenly an inexplicable and frightening cloud is over the country – its origin is a mystery to the experts. “Heimatland” uses this state of widespread uncertainty for a current snapshot of Switzerland: ten young film auteurs from the French and German-speaking parts shine a light one of the world’s wealthiest countries.

It helps to present the artists work, performances, screenings, publications, discourses and culinary events. Working models are developed here that promote cohesion and radical creative courage. The entire journey of the process is given special importance at FLUGWERK and has space to progress.

The core team of FLUGWERK contributes of actors, directors, writers, technicians, academic personnel, cultural managers and producers.
