Schnippeldisko

Making soup from rescued vegetables

16 JANUARY 2026 / 18:00

ZK/U BerlinSiemensstr. 27, 10551, Berlin, Germany

In 2026, Schnippeldisco once again takes place on the evening before the “Wir haben es satt!” demonstration. Schnippeldisco brings together collective cooking, music, and exchange. In an open kitchen and event setting, hundreds of participants prepare rescued vegetables that have been discarded due to market standards, despite being perfectly edible. Together, a large pot of soup is cooked.

The evening includes workshops, a pub quiz, music, and a range of thematic inputs focusing on agricultural transformation, food systems, and farming. The United Nations has declared 2026 the International Year of Farmers. Building on this, this year’s Schnippeldisco highlights queer-feminist, anti-racist, and migrant perspectives.

The soup will be shared during the event and distributed again the following day with participants after the “Wir haben es satt!” demonstration.

Free admission. No registration required.

A cooperation between Aktion Agrar, CIR, INKOTA, Slow Food Youth, and WHES.
