For this gathering, we consider moves to rehearse in an evoked space and time where lived experiences, that the current system makes divergent, are centered. What would it be like to be able to just be and exist without masking, to live wherever you choose to live, to express yourself fully without fear, and your contributions to be remembered.

Access Statement: All spoken language will be captioned / auto-translated into written language. All programmes take place outdoors in the wheelchair accessible yard. The listening session at 22:00 takes place inside and is accessible only via 3 step stairs; we offer support to enter. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible. Iarlaith Ní Fheorais: Aughrim, Barrow, Ballinasloe
Aughrim, Barrow, Ballinasloe is a performance in the shape of a fabulated art history lecture on the artist and sculptor J.J. Beegan. Beegan was from Ballinasloe, Ireland, who made drawings using burnt match sticks, recalling home while at Netherne Mental Health Hospital in Surrey, England. The performance sits with the experience of disabled diasporas, resulting from the displacement of medical incarceration.
Aughrim, Barrow, Ballinasloe raises questions of how disabled artists are positioned within art history, authorship, and the demands for and gaps in legibility. Using glamour, the aesthetics of access, and cripping pop songs, singing of longing and loss, the performance attempts to fill in what has been intentionally forgotten, erased by institutionalisation through abolitionist position.

Iarlaith Ní Fheoraisis a curator and writer, currently the curator of the 21st edition of TULCA Festival of Visual Arts, honey, milk and salt in a seashell before sunrise. As a writer she has written for Frieze, Burlington Contemporary, Viscose Journal, Girls Like Us, and has an art and access column with Visual Arts News Sheet. She regularly contributes towards public programmes and lectures including at Somerset House, KW Institute, Konstfack University and Arts and Disability Ireland. Committed to anti-ableism in the arts, she published a free online access toolkit for artworkers in 2023.

Saverio Cantoni is a white, masculine-presenting cyborg, disabled - oral Deaf - artist based in Berlin. They are the author of a series of research projects, from which cycles of interconnected works derive. Saverio embraces tentacular thinking, developing different outputs that take the form of moving images, sounds, performative actions, and publishing projects; they combines different media to offer multiple access to their world-making. Abstraction of reality is their methodology for a collective reflection and critical interrogation of the present. Saverio is actively participating in the Sickness Affinity Group (SAG), a group of art workers and activists who work on the topic of sickness/disability and/or are affected by sickness/disability.
Party Office: let it go: Acts of Queer Anarchism
let it go: Acts of Queer Anarchism through embodied performances proposes to take us towards a post-capitalist future, where we can become mindful of the pain we have received, and relate to it differently; where this remembering helps us build up again with compassion and respect towards ourselves, our mind, body and elements in our ecosystem. “let it go” is an emotional time where as radical figures and as divergents we find space to express ourselves in all fullness as we choose well being. Acts of collective healing slowly empower us with allies towards a revolution.
First in the series, Party Office will host three acts; i. a poetry workshop, ii. a collective somatic session, iii. listening to the playlist Mad Time Warp which includes works of 23 Queer & Crip artists.

Party Office is an anti-caste, anti racist, trans-feminist art and social space and time. Initially founded in 2020 in New Delhi it operates at satellite locations engaging in collective practices through publishing, grants, fellowship, parties and exhibitions centering lived experiences of BIPoC and trans figures. -
Care (they/them) is a Black trans non binary trauma-informed care practitioner, artist & doula who works on re-membering embodied experiences of awe, connection, miracles & care. Their work blooms at the intersection of Black interiority, somatic memory and queer intimacies. Always reflecting on their longing for home and belonging, they create rituals & ceremonies as portals through which displaced people can step into a healing, imaginative space unburdened by colonialism many violences. Their practice draw from ancestral knowledge and seek to re-enact and/or recreate rituals.Their practice is grounded in an intimate relationship with the land, ancestors, Spirit, the Elements & the more than human.
jade vine (it/its) is a queer, transgender/agender anarchist, abolitionist, gender vandalist, sex worker, poet, essayist, and teaching artist from Chandigarh, India. It is the author of three poetry chapbooks, namely Heaven is Only a Part of Our Body Where All the Sickness Resides (Ghost City Press, 2018), The End Is Not Apocalypse But Another Morning Where Everyone Tells Me I’m Dead (Yavanika Press, 2021), and Everybody’s Favourite Hoe & Then Some (Ginger Bug Press, 2023).
