WORKSHOP #6: What does a town hall of the future look like?

The district Berlin Mitte will build a new town hall on the premises of the Haus der Statistik. Which functions does a town hall have in the 21st century? Which does the town hall of the future look like? What kind of synergies are possible with other uses in the neighborhood?

Presentation of the urban development drafts - Haus der Statistik

In the past few months, three planning teams have been commissioned to design urban planning concepts for the area at the Haus der Statistik in a model process. All interested parties from the civil society were able to contribute their ideas to various events together with the Koop5 and the planners and contribute to the designs. It is the aim to develop a neighborhood for Berlin which is oriented towards the common good and radiates a special degree of diversity and innovation.
Prior to the final colloquium on 17/01/2019, the three final urbanistic drafts will be presented.
