OPENHAUS - open studios, performances, videos, installations and resident talks
The OPENHAUS is a regular public format that takes place every month in ZK/U, inviting audiences to connect with the hosted projects and to explore the process of its residency program.
During this OPENHAUS, visitors get to explore diverse experiences of arriving in new local contexts, through a video about a man wandering the world’s cities and a performance taking place in the Frankfurt Airport detention cell. The audience is invited to engage with theories of social-artistic practices and the international art world in a moderated discussion round and a freely distributed journal. Making complicated situations more tangible through visual art, discussions and videos, the OPENHAUS brings together global discourses on a local level.
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the artists and researchers in residence and explore ZK/U’s space and surroundings, to ask questions, to discuss and to exchange ideas about ongoing projects and artistic practices.
This month with Indu Antony, Tori Abernathy, Seokkyung Han, Lianne Mol, Lýdia Pribišová, Tracey Snelling, Byungseo Yoo.
