The LOCAL PETTING CLUB throws underground-style raves in a secret location beneath a historic structure in the heart of Moabit. No Insta, no Telegram — just friends of friends of friends. Not for likes, just for the moment. Since 2019, the collective has been chasing the perfect sweet spot between anti-commercial ethos and professional club standards. The most important thing: the feeling.

Months pass between their elaborately produced parties. That’s why there are occasional takeovers at favorite allied venues, such as Jonny Knüppel. Music is LPC’s central focus. Only what truly hits makes it onto the floors, carefully woven into a moving narrative across genres. With drive, with humor, and against clichés — from pounding house to honest techno.

On March 28th LPC is staying right in the neighborhood taking over our favorite cultural space in Moabit: LOCAL PETTING CLUB TAKEOVER @ ZK/U!

After a long beauty slumber, we’re waking the old techno basement with a kiss — and it’s reappearing in a striking new look! Welcome back to the Moabit underground! From 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, we’ll be inaugurating the space across two levels. New bars, plenty of air, full on lights. Techno-driven dance pleasure with charm and serious momentum — until your brain misses the last freight train.
