GÜTERMARKT #42

Bi-monthly market connecting the neighbourhood and showcasing local goods & handmade items
06 JULY 2025 / 11:00–19:00
ZK/U BerlinSiemensstr. 27, 10551, Berlin, Germany
GÜTERMARKT offers a diverse selection of second-hand goods, local arts and crafts, and repair shops for bicycles, electrical appliances, and much more. Workshops, talks, and neighborhood initiatives centered around the ZK/U narratives invite you to enjoy a relaxed Sunday—whether in the converted event spaces such as the new workshop floor or on the roof terrace with its urban stage and panoramic view of Westhafen.
Many great sellers have signed up for the next GÜTERMARKT on the first Sunday in July, offering handmade products and unique flea market treasures. You can look forward to jewelry from Behin the Flames, fashion made by Joy, photo prints from Lily Schlinker, and bags from hellibags, among other things! Comadres Ceramics will also be there again, and Lili will be presenting her knitwear—if you prefer to pick up the needles yourself, our neighbors at WollGenuss are ready and waiting! And even our four-legged friends will find something to enjoy at teru.berlin. Kanapka Catering will be providing refreshments!
There will also be hands-on activities for young and old! Ort-schafft-Material invites you to explore colors in the city, and Compagnos is offering a workshop on making practical beeswax wraps. We'll end Sunday with relaxing music from Amira Rosa and Kahl mit Hut. We look forward to seeing you there!

DIY Bees Wax Cloth with Compagno
Beeswax wraps are a pleasant and simple alternative to plastic wrap, for example, for storing cheese in the refrigerator. You can make them yourself. New-Berliners from Ukraine are happy to show you how. They are pleased to demonstrate that, regardless of war, it is possible to remain hopeful and engage in climate protection.
16–18:00
Colour Expedition in the City with Ort-schafft-Material
What colors can be found in the city? What plants grow between paving stones, on the side of the road, or on vacant lots—and how can they be used artistically? Together, we will discover the small resources of urban nature and experiment on site with colors from collected leaves, flowers, or food scraps. Using simple tools and reused materials, we will create individual city portraits in color: open to all age groups.

Music by Amira Rosa
Amira Rosa releases her debut EP, Schwarzmilan, captivating listeners with her handmade band sound, deep voice, and eloquence. She tells the story of her forest fires and the bird that sets them ablaze with brutal honesty, creating her own unique indie pop atmosphere through her often lyrical, abstract language. She paints vivid pictures, such as that of the blossoming city garden, and recounts her family history, telling of conflict and forgiveness, of letting go and moving on.
19:00
Music by Kahl mit Hut
Bald with a hat, dirty but good! Music to marvel at and enjoy! Trumpet, trombone, and Saint Intonatius.
