Ensemble LUX:NM – Open Scores

(c) Andrea Huyoff Slowik

05 SEPTEMBER 2026 / 19:00

ZK/U BerlinSiemensstr. 27, 10551, Berlin, Germany

With the concert format “Open Scores” at ZK/U, the LUX:NM ensemble explores soundscapes that bridge the gap between composition and improvisation. Together with representatives of Berlin’s experimental music scene, collaborative sequences give rise to open islands of sound that enter into a dialogue with works of contemporary music.

This deliberately open format challenges aesthetic boundaries and experiments with new forms of collective music-making—spanning structured composition, improvisational processes, and electroacoustic extensions of the instrumental repertoire.

The Berlin musicians Başak Günak, Mohamad Fityan, Susanne Fröhlich, and Antje Vowinckel—each an expert in specific forms of sonic expression—will join forces with the Ensemble LUX:NM to create a multifaceted concert series.
