Dyke* Festival Berlin is a grassroots interdisciplinary event platforming dyke* creativity and celebrating dyke* culture. The goal of allesbien, the lesbian* and bi collective behind the festival, is to gather local and international dyke* performers, thinkers and makers in order to express as many aspects of the dyke* experience as possible, showcasing its beauty and diversity, and helping establish community and self-determination for all dykes* searching for it. Above all, the festival aims to create an accessible space of belonging, reciprocity and care through dyke* visibility and joy.
Over the weekend you can expect workshops and panel discussions, DJ sets, drag and live performances, games, exhibitions and a market. Each day will begin with family-friendly activities before building into a livelier programme; there will also be plenty of outdoors space to relax, as well as a trained awareness team ready to accomodate emerging needs.
