The second iteration of the Convivial Commons Assembly focuses on collective decision-making processes and the structures through which participation is organised. Building on the proposals developed during the first Assembly, this session experiments with different voting systems and governance mechanisms in relation to the emerging ZK/U Friends Summer Festival.
Between 18:00 and 20:00, participants collectively test and negotiate various models of voting, including hybrid approaches that consider both human and more-than-human inputs within decision-making processes. Existing proposals are revisited, evaluated, and discussed through the framework of the evolving Convivial Commons Congress.
From 20:00 onwards, the Convivial Commons installation will open to the general public. The installation explores speculative channels of communication between human and non-human actors through environmental sensing, data processing, and responsive spatial elements.
