ART as/is SOCIAL Session #6

Socially engaged art & the Commons

'ART as/is SOCIAL: On engagement in contemporary cultural theory & practice' is a new discursive format with close readings, discussions and case studies around the topic of socially engaged artistic practices.

Casco Art Institute’s (Utrecht, NL) views on working for the commons is taken as a point of departure for this session. The reading material can also be found online: http://casco.art/casco-art-institute-working-for-the-commons-introduction.
