7. Schnippeldisko - Topf, Tanz, Talk!

Welcome to the world‘s largest Disco Soup on January 20th, 2017, in Berlin! Lets heat the dancefloor and the veggies and get ready for the „We are fed up“-demonstration on January 21st.

Sharp knives and discussions, great beats and beets are amongst the ingredients of the most unusual disco you‘ve ever experienced.

Too small, too big, too fat, too thin for the standardized wholesale and retail norms: 1500 kg vegetables from the Brandenburg region will be waiting to be chopped and transformed into a delicious vegan soup by the „Fläming Kitchen“ Team!

Bakers from the initiative „The Free Bakers. Time for responsibility“ will join us with their mobile oven. Let‘s bake together for the sake of GM- and Company-free foodcraft. The reward: A slice of mouth-watering fresh bread.

DJ Adam Aalias and The Worms Original 7“ inches will heat the dancefloor with the best beats.

Want to give your hands and feet a break? Enjoy great talks from activists from all around Europe and an amazing exhibition about the peasant right movement worldwide. Discover with farmers and activists all the hot topics of the actual food and agricultural system and the new international declaration of peasant rights. Want to get creative? Then give it a try and help draw, paint and create with us posters, banners and buttons for the demonstration on the next day.

Bring along your knives, peelers, brushes, chopping boards and dancing shoes to wash, peel and cut all those knobbly vegetables and to dance through the night. You are all invited!
