6. Schnippeldisco - Kettle, Dance, Talk!

Welcome to the world‘s largest Disco Soup on January 20th, 2017, in Berlin! Lets heat the dancefloor and the veggies and get ready for the „We are fed up“-demonstration on January 21st.

Sharp knives and discussions, great beats and beets are amongst the ingredients of the most unusual disco you‘ve ever experienced.

Too small, too big, too fat, too thin for the standardized wholesale and retail norms: 1500 kg vegetables from the Brandenburg region will be waiting to be chopped and transformed into a delicious vegan soup by the „Fläming Kitchen“ Team!

Bakers from the initiative „The Free Bakers. Time for responsibility“ will join us with their mobile oven. Let‘s bake together for the sake of GM- and Company-free foodcraft. The reward: A slice of mouth-watering fresh bread.

DJ Decent and DJ Fog Puma from the Green Music Initiative will heat the dancefloor with the best beats.

Want to give your hands and feet a break? Enjoy impro theatre with Thomas Jäkel, agro poetry slam with Volker Suhrmann, short films and great talks with activists from all around the world.

Our topics in 2017 are:

* Prevent Bay-Santo! – seeds and bread are everybody‘s business.
* Stop exploitation! – fair working conditions for migrant laborers in agriculture.
* Put an end to food waste!
*Lets get going! – movement for food sovereignty in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

Bring along your knives, peelers, brushes, chopping boards and dancing shoes to wash, peel and cut all those knobbly vegetables and to dance through the night. You are all invited!
