Between May and August of 2019, the collective "Stadtfrauenküche" (SFK) explored the topics of feminism & urban food production. After four years of experimenting, cooking, and curating in part-time at ZK/U Berlin, a critical perspective on what one's own plate holds is growing beyond that; towards the city and the rural scape. What are the narratives, facts and combinations of production aesthetics that exist? Is ground ivy suited for elevated flower beds? What about transparency in procurement, democracy in food, positive social aesthetics, excessive demands on oneself?
