citytoolbox.net - The learning-platform allows future professionals and dedicated citizens to gather practical knowledge for bottom-up activities in the urban field, connects them among each other, broadens awareness for challenges in the city, and most of all, empowers them to become agents of change and self-employed protagonists in the ‘urban arena’.
Through best practice tools - first provided by the six partners of the CTB-network and fast connecting with other initiatives around Europe - interested citizens can apply step by step guidelines in their local context and upload ‘tools’ of their own urban actions. Therefor CTB covers all relevant fields, such as recommendations for funding opportunities, communication strategies or just things to not forget. Naturally it will be web-and mobile friendly, but in addition user can print the tools as well-designed PDFs to work offline in teams for the single steps.
The CTB-platform will be launched in May 2017 coming along with a variety of features that provide best guidance for implementing and sharing urban action tools.
