I know that beauty is everywhere around us. However what if there is beauty in transitory, ethereal moments: those instances we can't really capture or hold?
When my practice changed from making and finding beauty to participating and experiencing beauty I was left with many unanswered questions, such as: how best to convey the thrill of unique, creative experiences? How can I present these moments in a new form of production, now that my aesthetic principal is no longer requires producing objects? Is "production" necessary for this kind of work?
My aim is for viewers to experience my process of discovery: my exploratory journey. To do this, I now focus on sound, interviews, performance and writing realised as installation as a way of maximising conversation and minimising the productions of made outcomes.
