Takuji KOGO is a Japanese artist and a curator who organizes *CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS.

*CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS is a Japanese based platform for international collaborative art projects. It is mobile, continuously relocating its office into different institutions, organizing original curatorial projects, exhibitions, publications and web projects.

Takuji KOGO is presently the director of the Kitakyushu Biennial since 2007 and since 2012 *CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS took its collaborative projects from the Kitakyushu Biennial on a World tour to Singapore at The Private Museum Singapore, and to Berlin at a newly opened space in Zentrum fur Kunst und Urbanistik. In 2015 the 5th Kitakyushu Biennial opened a screening event at ZK/U, exhibitions at Jönköping County Museum, Sweden, Soap Gallery Kitakyushu, Japan, and The Private Museum, Singapore.

*CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS has developed long term collaborations with artists John Miller, Federico Baronello, Mike Bode, Young-hae Chang, Heavy Industries, Charles Lim Yi Yong, Keiichi Miyagawa and Sean Snyder.

Takuji Kogo has produced a large body of work both as a solo artist and in collaborations under the *CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS and presented at Kyev Biennial, NBK in Germany, Miami ICA, MAGASIN in France, NYC New Museum, NYC MOMA, Seoul Media City, Singapore Art museum, Yokohama Triennale, Seoul Nam June Paik Art Centre, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and others.
