Shriya Malhotra collaborates on artistic research projects about cities. Her work combines urban and social science research methods and art, specifically grassroots or DIY urbanism and tactical street art. She is interested in the emotional ties existing between people and the places they live in, and believes that we can create better cities from the bottom-up.  Shriya is a graduate (MA) of the New School and a member of Partizaning, an urban art activism collective based in Moscow, Russia.
