Nathalie Harb is an installation artist, designer and scenographer, born in Beirut. Her artistic practice is concentrated on notions of space, encompassing the public to the very intimate; and within that spectrum, the dualities between possibilities of shelter, care, and home against threat, danger and conflict. 

In the public space, she explores strategies of rethinking our urban imaginaries by implementing spatial experiments or tools that raise awareness on the citizen’s agency on one’s city and the commons. 

In the intimate space, she question the complexities of making a home, the alternative definitions of home, the exile that becomes a willful nomadism, and the body as the ultimate envelope that defines our intimate space.  

Her work has been exhibited at the ICA and the Lethaby gallery in London, at the Petite Galerie of the Cite des Arts; in the frame of the London Design Biennale, the Beirut Design Week and the Amman design Week and the Unesco week of Sound, amongst others. She regularly collaborates with the internationally award-winning Zoukak theatre Company.

She recently completed a residency at the Cite des Arts in Paris and is currently a fellow artist at ZKU.
