Milly Warner

Milly Warner is a researcher and spatial designer working across academia, design practice, and social enterprise in the UK and internationally. Throughout her work, she focuses on spatial justice and building civic agency.
 
Her academic background merges anthropology, social history, urban design and city planning. She is currently a Research Assistant at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL, where she has been researching community ownership and stewardship across a range of critical infrastructures such as land, housing, and energy systems. She is also a Social Impact Researcher at the design practice Stride Treglown, where she facilitates participatory co-design processes. Alongside this, she is a Director of Bedminster Works, a Community Interest Company focused on neighbourhood organising and collaborating with actors from across the built environment to transition key civic infrastructures into community ownership and nurture more equitable local economies and resilient communities in Bristol, UK.
