Frank Jimin Hopp (1994 in Berlin) is a German-Korean artist, painter and sculptor. He is currently studying Fine Arts in Prof. Valérie Favre's class at the UdK Berlin and was previously a student of Prof. Leiko Ikemura. In 2016, he studied BA Fine Art at the Universidad de Complutense de Madrid as part of an Erasmus semester. In 2020, he participated in the MA Fine Art programme at the University of Arts London. His work has been shown in various institutions such as Haus am Kleistpark, Gropius Bau, Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Museum für Fotografie and Saatchi Gallery in London. In 2019, he was awarded the Walter Stöhrer Foundation Recognition Award and the Haus am Kleistpark Art Award 2019. Since 2020, he has been a scholarship holder in the artist sponsorship programme of the Cusanuswerk e.V.
