Rob Thorne (Ngati Tumutumu) is a taonga puoro musician, sonic healer and social anthropologist currently based in Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has researched and performed with taonga puoro (traditional Maori instruments) since 2001. His most recent album Whaia te Maramatanga (Rattle Records, 2014) was nominated for Best Maori Traditional Album at the Waiata Maori Music Awards. Whaia te Maramatanga actively rebirths and reworks ancient sonic practices, reacquaints ancestor and descendent, merging past and future in the present for a transcendental celebration of unity.

Oliver Peryman aka Fis is a 26 year old electronic composer from New Zealand. Since 2011 he has steadily assembled a back catalogue of spirited, physical and exploratory releases addressing rhythmic experimentation, headspace, heart space, systems design and ecology.
