Daniella Mooney is a Berlin-based artist from South Africa working across multiple mediums, with a focus on wood, stone, and more recently the body in art-making. The development of her sculptural practise has variously involved themes of perception, belief, and communal ritual. Her current research includes using embodied strategies and processes to explore participatory projects involving the choreographies of shared spaces and social design. These strategies are further realized through a commitment and responsibility to the materials she uses and communities she participates within.
