Bokyung's works vary from site-specific installation to writing, drawing, photography, and performance. I begin my work with the question “how I can blur the boundaries between center and periphery as well as art and life”. I involve myself in a site by the simple act - walking and have a conversation with people- to bring out personal stories and turn into a bigger narratives. In my work, the role of artist and collaborators/participants are no longer divided. I am not the only artist; rather all participants become artists who create the work. In this way, my work may blur the line between art/everyday life, objectiveness/subjectiveness, and convergence/divergence.
