(France)
is a French/German artist born in 1989. He recently moved to Berlin after graduating (MFA) from the School of Fine Arts in Paris. He studied for half a year in Chicago and is currently enrolled in the “Kunst im Kontext” post-graduate program at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Through various mediums (performance, drawing, video, publication) he explores the interactions between his own body, his personal history and the surrounding environment. His encounters might as well call for meteorological elements than for site specific historical layers, family stories or playful protocols based upon chance operations.
He wrote his master thesis, entitled “Lack and Memory”, about war, words and photography based upon a collection of family pictures and correspondence from the Second World War.
His practice has also a lot to thank to the various collaborations he is involved in. Since 2008 he works along with Romain Trinquand as the performative duo “Trindlerschinquand” and founded in 2011 with Nicolas Pommé the musical improvisation project/label "You Are The Robot”.
