Beteiligungsverfahren für den Ausbau 3.0 des ZK/U 2052 - Teil I[3].

Über zwölf Monate hinweg beauftragt das ZK/U Berlin derzeit sogenannte „Untersuchungsausschüsse (UA)“ u. a. mit der Erfragung zukünftiger Nutzungsbedarfe für das ZK/U Berlin. 

In einem dreistündigen öffentlichen Workshop sollen zu diesem Zweck 20 Empfehlungen für das ZK/U erarbeitet werden. Diese fließen in eine Publikation ein, die der UA #02  im Rahmen des OPENHAUS PLUS am ZK/U erstmals vorstellen wird.

Der Workshop findet in englischer Sprache statt.

Participation Procedures for the Expansion 3.0 of the ZK/U 2052 – Part I [3]

ZK/U Berlin is currently commissioning so-called fact-finding committees with the inquiry into the needs and requirements regarding the building’s future usage. 

In a three-hour public workshop, twenty recommendations for the ZK/U will be developed. The results of the workshop will be part of a publication, which is to be released by fact-finding committee #02 as part of the OPENHAUS PLUS at ZK/U.

The workshop will be held in English.

Das OPENHAUS PLUS ist eine zweitägige Erweiterung des regelmäßig stattfindenden, öffentlichen Formates des ZK/U Berlin. Alle drei Monate finden die Untersuchung von stadtgesellschaftlichen Berliner Sachverhalten, deren Aufklärung im öffentlichen Interesse liegt, ein Forum beim OPENHAUS PLUS. Die Ergebnisse der ZK/U Untersuchungsausschüsse werden in einem Abschlussbericht vorgestellt und um zwei künstlerische Berliner Positionen ergänzt.

Two days of open studios, performances, videos, installations, publications and talks with residents and participants of fact-finding committee #02.

The OPENHAUS PLUS is a two-day extension of ZK/U’s regular public format. ZK/U invites its audiences to connect with the residents, get to know the hosted projects, and explore the processes of its residency programme.

Every three months, a temporary fact-finding committee, which investigates current issues in Berlin’s urban society that are of public interest, presents its findings in a final report during OPENHAUS PLUS.

FREIRAUM IN BERLIN - Zum Stand der Freiheit in Europa
12. und 13. März 2019

Für das Projekt „Freiraum“ nutzt das Goethe-Institut sein europaweites Netzwerk, um Partner aus Kultur und Zivilgesellschaft in den Dialog zu bringen und in Paaren aus jeweils zwei europäischen Städten Fragen zum Thema Freiheit zu stellen. Gemeinsam mit dem ZK/U Berlin und der Stiftung Mercator werden ausgewählte Ergebnisse der „Freiraum-Tandems“ öffentlich präsentiert. 
Entstanden sind künstlerische und diskursive Formate an rund 40 Orten in Europa - von Nikosia bis Carlisle, von Madrid bis Tallin. Gemeinsam mit dem ZK/U – Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik und der Stiftung Mercator werden ausgewählte Ergebnisse der „Freiraum-Tandems“ am 12. und 13. März 2019 in Berlin öffentlich präsentiert.

MORE WORLD - Call for Contributions

Das MORE WORLD-Projekt lädt ein, gemeinsam kommunale Werkzeuge für planetarische Herausforderungen zu untersuchen. Dafür schafft die Berliner Gazette innerhalb ihrer Internetzeitung einen eigenen Bereich. Dazu sind alle Interessierten eingeladen, Beiträge im Umfang von 10.000 Zeichen zum MORE WORLD-Themenschwerpunkt beizutragen.

Höhepunkt des MORE WORLD-Projekts wird die Berliner Gazette-Jahreskonferenz sein, die vom 10.-12.10.2019 im ZK/U Berlin stattfinden wird.

OPEN SPACE IN BERLIN - On the state of freedom in Europe
12 and 13 March, 2019

For the ‘Freiraum’ (meaning free or open space) project, the Goethe Institute uses its Europe-wide network to bring partners from culture and civil society into dialogue. In pairs from two different European cities, they will answer questions on the topic of freedom. Together with the ZK/U Berlin and the Mercator Foundation, selected results of these tandems will be presented to the public. Artistic and discursive formats have been created at around fourty locations in Europe - from Nicosia to Carlisle, from Madrid to Tallin. Together with the ZK/U - Center for Art and Urbanistics and the Mercator Foundation, selected results of the „Freiraum Tandems“ will be presented to the public in Berlin on 12 and 13 March 2019.

Call for Contributions - MORE WORLD
Submission deadline: 29 April, 2019

The Berliner Gazette’s 20th anniversary project MORE WORLD invites you to explore communal tools for planetary challenges. To this end, the Berliner Gazette has created a special section in their online newspaper. Anyone interested is invited to contribute a text of 10.000 characters on one of the MORE WORLD central themes. Highlight of the MORE WORLD project will be the Berliner Gazette’s annual conference, which takes place at ZK/U Berlin from 10 until 12 October, 2019.
