Seltsame Zeiten erfordern neue und experimentelle Formate – das ZK/U startet mit dem OPEN PARK HAUS und auf der Terrasse am 18. Juni im Stadtgarten Moabit. Das ZK/U bietet frische Luft, viel Raum für Distanz, und vor allem Arbeiten und Recherchen seiner Residenzkünstler*innen sowie weiterer im Park involvierter Gruppen. Das Publikum ist eingeladen Installationen, Filmvorführungen und Interventionen zu erkunden und das Orakel nach unserer ungewissen Zukunft zu fragen.

Da seltsame Zeiten auch seltsame Maßnahmen erfordern, ist eine Registrierung zur Teilnahme dringend notwendig. Diese kann über folgendes Formular erfolgen: https://forms.gle/ktx89icCVZvABLdM9. Informationen über weitere Maßnahmen bzgl. der Hygiene und bspw. Abstandsregelungen folgen in Kürze.

Ab Juni 2020 bietet das ZK/U Berlin Studio-Ateliers zur monatlichen, zweimonatigen oder zur Miete auf Wochenbasis an. Bevorzugt werden Enthusiasten aus den Bereichen Kunst, Design, Architektur, soziales Engagements und Urbanismus. Dabei handelt es sich um ein besonderes Angebot, das aufgrund der derzeitigen Reisebeschränkungen zustande kommt. So ergibt sich nun für bereits Ortsansässige die einmalige Chance, eines der geräumigen Studios in dem einzigartigen Gebäude des ZK/U, umgeben von einem wunderbaren Park, zu genießen.

Nun ist es so weit: Das Projekt MO HARTERA - kvARTera kann starten. Im Rahmen der City Tool Box wirkt das ZK/U Berlin in der diesjährigen Kulturhauptstadt Rijeka an einer urbanen Intervention mit, die ermöglichen soll, einen öffentlichen Raum rund um eine alte Papierfabrik in Rijeka durch die Bevölkerung der Stadt zu reaktivieren.

Als Teil des Kulturhauptstadt-Kapitels "Süß und Salzig/Sweet and Salt" und in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Goethe-Institut Kroatien, der Universität Rijeka, dem DeltaLab  - Zentrum für urbane Transition, Architektur und Urbanistik der Universität Rijeka und dem Verein Urbani separe aus Rijeka hat sich das Projekt das Ziel gesetzt, durch Partizipation die Menschen, Orte und bestehende Narrative in den Stadtvierteln Školjić und Sušak zu verbinden.

The project MO HARTERA - kvARTera can finally kick off. Within the frame of City Tool Box, ZK/U Berlin is collaborating in an urban intervention to allow the citizens of Rijeka, this year's European Capital of Culture, to reactivate a public space surrounding an old paper factory.

As part of the chapter "Sweet & Salty" and in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Croatia, the University of Rijeka, DeltaLab – Centre for Urban Transition, Architecture and Urbanism of University of Rijeka and Urbani spepare, an association from Rijeka, the project has set its sights on combining the people, places, and existing narratives of Školjić and Sušak.
