During ZK/U’s October OPENHAUS the audience is invited to explore the spaces and to walk around the public park to discover the resident’s artworks.
OPENHAUS October is opening its doors to various art formats and diverse topics will be addressed.
Besides the artworks during the event the participating artists will be present and available to talk about their works and practices. New fellows such as Willem de Haan whose topic is to add props and staged moments to daily situations is going to set a real interactive door in the park, Tzu Ting Wang will talk about how Berlin’s storefront windows influence her art practice. Furthermore Afọpẹ́fólúwa Òjó, a creative technologist and experiential artist, will present a video loop projection and Jesse Siegel whose research look at how new towns reflect governments socioeconomic reasons and culture is usually an overlooked aspect in their developments.
ZK/U resident artists Trystan Williams will install some found objects that as a circular ritual, before the end of the residency, will return in their original site of finding and Leman Sevda Darıcıoğlu who aims to bring light on queer people's hidden stories, is going to show a video about a grave with no site in Turkey.
Join us at ZK/U OPENHAUS October, it will be a great opportunity to see the process of the residency programme, take a walk around the spaces and directly exchange with the artists while getting some drinks at Fevala bar.

RULES FOR HYGIENE AND BEHAVIOUR FOR EVENTS AT ZK/U BERLIN
1. In order to participate, you need to register beforehand
2. A minimum distance of 1,5 meters must be maintained at all times
3. When using indoor facilities (restroom, basement, ...) please always wear a mask. Also, please understand that only a limited number of participants can be into indoor areas at the same time.
4. Cough and sneeze into your elbow, not your hands. Please wash or sanitize your hands afterwards.
