Recycling makes us feel like responsible consumers that are doing something good for the environment. But where does waste end up after we throw it into the bin? Waste can be a source of health problems but it could also be physically and symbolically transformed into art or profit. A series of documentaries will explore how waste travels in between different parts of the world. Tracing these journeys offers a productive way to question our consumption behaviours and cultural values.
