Mio ist Architekt, Bühnenbildner und Stadtpädagoge, dessen Arbeit die komplexen Beziehungen zwischen ephemeren Strukturen, gemeinschaftsorientierter Raumaneignung und Stadtpolitik erforscht.

Beim ZK/U konzipiert, entwickelt und leitet er verschiedene EU-Projekte (u.a. Horizon und Creative Europe), erweitert das hauseigene Programm und pflegt die Beziehungen zu lokalen sowie internationalen Partnern. Außerhalb der Institution untersucht er die Potenziale kritischer Stadtpädagogik (ZEDucation) und die Rolle von Grassroots-Initiativen in der intersektoralen Stadtentwicklung.

Fun Fact: Im praktischen Leben ist Mio zertifizierter Obstbaumwart.
