Colombia’s Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge is the national institution responsible for developing and implementing the country’s cultural policy. Its work promotes cultural rights and supports the protection and development of Colombia’s diverse memories, heritage, knowledge systems, identities and artistic practices. In collaboration with communities and cultural organisations across the country, the ministry understands culture as a foundation for territorial transformation, intercultural dialogue, social equity and peacebuilding.
