Furen Dai

Furen Dai is an artist based in New York. Through her exploration of materials, presentation, lighting, architecture, and text, her works delve deeply into the roots of language, classification, and systems. Dai's artistic practice spans various fields, including video, 16mm film, publishing, sculpture, painting, and photography. Selected exhibitions include: New England Triennial (2022), the Sherry and Donald Rubin Foundation (2021), and the Tokyo National Art Center (2018), among others. Additionally, she actively participates in various art residency programs such as the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), Art OMI, and MacDowell.

Furen Dai holds a Bachelor's degree in Russian language and literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
