ZK/U - Center for Art and Urbanistics offers an Erasmus+ / Erasmus Entrepreneur position

Formats: Food & Footage & Gütermarkt

ZK/U - Center for Art and Urbanistics Berlin is an interdisciplinary space for artistic, scientific, and social exchange. As an independent artist-run residency and project space, it serves as a hub for dialogue between global discourses and local practice. In 2025, ZK/U will reopen its public venues after several years of expansion. As part of this reopening, the formats Food & Footage and Gütermarkt will also return to the site.

The weekly format Food & Footage brings film and food together around a specific theme. Film curators and chefs pair independent films, short films, and documentaries with a meal tailored to the artistic themes, thereby responding to the discourses of ZK/U. Sometimes the relationship is obvious; other times, the connection is more subtle.

The Gütermarkt is an experimental marketplace that combines material and immaterial resources. Unlike traditional consumer markets, it focuses on sharing, exchanging, and repairing, making it a conscious alternative to linear consumption models. The idea of conserving resources and strengthening local communities takes center stage.

To support the reactivation of these formats, ZK/U Berlin is offering an internship position for Erasmus+ / Erasmus Entrepreneur starting in April 2025. The minimum duration is five months.
