Ragil Dwi Putra ( Indonesia )

How do we identify the city not by its monuments, buildings or museums that have existed for a long time? But what if we identify it from little objects that come across when we are walking around the city? Like the traces of bird dropping that fell down on the garden's path, or a little grass that grows at the gap of the paving block, a piece of food wrapper, bottle cap and also a rust on our neighbor's fence?

Ragil`s residency project collected these little things that sometimes we ignore in our city life, using public space as a field where we can find any little things that catch our eye's attention when we are going around the city. Collecting and arranging them to be a manuscript that we can save for the future. This project was also a way on how we communicate or appreciate what was conveyed by our city through artistic and speculative ways.
